Job Description

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, assisting with access control procedures and directing visitors and staff as appropriate.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
