Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or team members while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen people, packages, bags, and/or selected items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required logs, reports, and/or communication channels.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access, prohibited items, and/or policy violations at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including shipping, receiving, trailer, dock, and/or warehouse areas, as conditions vary by site.
Minimum Requirements
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
