Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, visitor management protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control access to the location, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, access issues, and/or environmental hazards.
• Support badge and key control processes, maintain accurate logs of entries and deliveries, and follow healthcare location policies related to privacy, restricted areas, and professional interactions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
