Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk

As a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced Front Desk in Liverpool, NY, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Scale your hours up to 40 per week or back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with healthcare location procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe lobby activity to deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity or concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and contacting emergency services or site leadership when needed.
• Support a professional, welcoming healthcare environment by answering inquiries, providing directions, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Day Shift: Monday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM (fixed anchor shift).
• Flexible additional shifts available through the Claim-A-Shift program.
