Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, loading areas, gates, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for vehicles and pedestrians, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and operational issues to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements

  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC card.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
