Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct incoming traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, dock doors, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity by observing site operations, reporting irregular conditions, and following Allied Universal and client reporting procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements mandated by state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
