Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity according to site protocols, assisting with visitor screening, credential checks, and/or vehicle access procedures as directed.
• Support daily operations by communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel, while completing required logs, reports, and other post-related documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
