Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility-related locations, including exterior areas, access points, and perimeter routes, while helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and help to support protection of equipment, facilities, and/or restricted areas.
- Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related concerns, site conditions, and/or incidents requiring further attention.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
