Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, facilities, access points, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or daily activities in accordance with site requirements.
- Aid travelers, visitors, and/or employees with directions and general information while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns and reporting issues through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
