Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points, as conditions vary by site.
- Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential risks to help support order and help to deter unwanted behavior within the location.
- Aid with access control, opening and closing procedures, and/or reporting of hazards, maintenance concerns, or other security-related issues observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements
- Security experience of 1+ years is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
