Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Inspection

As a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced Driver Patrol Inspection in Corydon, IN, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Scale your hours up to 40 per week or back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the perimeter.
• Deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and policy violations through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
