How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, verifying credentials, and following visitor management and sign-in procedures.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Support security-related operations by observing front lobby activity, reporting unusual behavior or policy concerns, and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Aid in front desk administrative tasks related to security-related operations, including answering phones, directing guests, maintaining logs, and documenting incidents in accordance with site policies.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
