How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, store policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to Allied Universal procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, receiving areas, and/or other designated locations while maintaining awareness of customer traffic, employee activity, and security-related issues.
Support asset protection and loss prevention efforts by observing for suspicious behavior, assisting with de-escalation when needed, and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
