As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Clearance Required Patrol in Dulles, VA, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking-up additional shifts.

Pay

$27.05 / hour

Schedule

• Fixed-shift commitment (“Anchor Shifts”) with a six (6) month assignment requirement.
• Base schedule: DayTime, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM.
• Opportunity to pick up extra shifts through our Claim-A-Shift program, allowing you to scale hours from part-time to full-time (up to 40 hours per week) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and authorized contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization in accordance with site procedures to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications: customer service experience and alarm panel experience.
