Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing individuals to the proper department or contact when needed.
• Assist with healthcare location protocols by observing for patient assistance needs, supporting de-escalation efforts when appropriate, and communicating with staff regarding security-related issues and/or urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements

• Hospital assignments require vaccines.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

About the Role

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Qualifications

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
