Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter access points, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support established access control procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations at an industrial location by reporting maintenance concerns, potential hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
