DayTime Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and transportation personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government port location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Carry out regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and parking locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Operate access-control systems, communications equipment, and related technology; complete accurate reports, logs, and required documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
