About the role
This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position is a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Russellville, AR, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with income stability and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.
How this role works
- Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, employee, and vendor entry and exit in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Report access control concerns, unusual activity, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$14.50 / hour, with weekly pay.
Schedule
- Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM - 04:00 PM
