Security Officer Enhanced Part Time

Allied Universal® offers a flexible, part‑time Security Officer – Enhanced position in Janesville, WI. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts for extra earnings and experience.

Pay

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shift: Tuesday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM (fixed‑shift “anchor” commitment with a six‑month term; additional shifts available through the Claim‑A‑Shift program).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout industrial facilities, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, exits, and incidents as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Experience with access control and badge procedures (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
