Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with site protocols and security-related requirements.
• Support communications and coordination during routine operations and elevated situations, including assisting with investigations, writing detailed activity reports, and relaying information to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess Act 235 qualification for positions in Pennsylvania.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
