Pay Rate
$33.06 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior according to post orders.
- Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, preparing accurate reports, and following established communication procedures during routine operations and critical situations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
