Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support cash handling and other high-value operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with security-related response procedures during opening, closing, and business hours.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess 1+ year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications
- Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
