Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following post orders for an armed assignment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence while carrying authorized equipment, document incidents and daily activities, and support local procedures for emergency situations, de-escalation, and/or coordination with first responders.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
