Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Compliance Patrol

About the Role

This part-time armed security position offers a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through a scheduling platform. It is designed for individuals seeking part-time employment with income stability, with opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

Key Details

• Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour
• Schedule: Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Friday 02:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Commitment: Six (6) month commitment to the assigned site and weekly shift
• This role allows you to pick up extra shifts through the Claim-A-Shift Program to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
• Maintain awareness of access points and visitor activity, assisting with access control and directing individuals in accordance with site procedures
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Handcuffing Certification
• Guard Card or license
