$19.17 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, entry points, and perimeter zones, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor personnel and visitor movement in accordance with site policies, verifying credentials, directing individuals to designated areas, and reporting unauthorized activity.
- Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of location-specific conditions and protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
