As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Enrollment in Diamond Bar, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, vendor, and vehicle records in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and management while documenting daily activities, incidents, and access‑related information.

Requirements

• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.00 per hour

Schedule

Fixed shift: Monday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (DayTime) with a six‑month commitment. Additional shifts can be claimed via the Claim‑A‑Shift program, allowing variable hours up to 40 hours per week.
