Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and/or credential checkpoints to help to deter unauthorized access, verify permissions, and document visitor activity according to property guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and report security-related concerns.
- Support day-to-day property operations by maintaining logs, preparing incident reports, and providing clear directions and assistance to occupants and guests.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
