The Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position provides flexible, dependable hours for individuals looking to supplement income, gain hands‑on experience, or work toward a full‑time career with the industry leader.

Job Schedule

Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six‑month commitment. In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform (Claim‑A‑Shift program) to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Example shift: Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. This structure allows you to work part‑time hours one week and full‑time the next, scaling back when needed.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.80 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the food production location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with facility procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• At least two years of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required (federal, state, local laws).
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
