How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production and distribution location, verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records while communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated facility areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
