About the role

As a Security Officer EMT Patrol Driver in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This is a part-time, on-site ambulance (EMT) and security patrol position. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct mobile patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service. A valid driver’s license is required to meet Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer first aid treatment and other emergency care to sick or injured persons and assist with facilitating transport to medical facilities.
  • Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to emergency calls from a dispatcher, such as requests for medical assistance following emergency response proceedings.
  • Provide emergency medical care and other treatment pursuant to EMT certification.
  • Determine the nature and extent of illness and injury.
  • Report all medical incidents, accidents, or emergencies, including completing a Daily Activity Log on every shift describing all activities.
  • Complete an Incident Report documenting any medical response calls on client property.
  • Establish priorities to determine procedures for emergency first aid or assistance; request additional help, including special rescue and utility services.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess EMT certification.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$24.40 / hour

Schedule

  • Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
