Security Officer EMT Patrol Part Time

About the role
As a Security Officer EMT Patrol Driver in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This is a part-time, on-site ambulance (EMT) and security patrol position. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct mobile patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service. A valid driver’s license is required to meet Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Administer first aid treatment and other emergency care to sick or injured persons and assist with facilitating transport to medical facilities.
- Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to emergency calls from a dispatcher, such as requests for medical assistance following emergency response proceedings.
- Provide emergency medical care and other treatment pursuant to EMT certification.
- Determine the nature and extent of illness and injury.
- Report all medical incidents, accidents, or emergencies, including completing a Daily Activity Log on every shift describing all activities.
- Complete an Incident Report documenting any medical response calls on client property.
- Establish priorities to determine procedures for emergency first aid or assistance; request additional help, including special rescue and utility services.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess EMT certification.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$24.40 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
