Sagewood, a resort‑style senior living community in NE Phoenix (4555 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85050), is part of Life Care Services, the nation’s premier senior living provider. The community offers an all‑inclusive lifestyle, superior hospitality, and beautiful desert surroundings near the Mayo Clinic and Hospital. As a Security Officer – FT Nights, you will help ensure the highest level of safety and security for residents, guests, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the property
- Escort and assist residents and guests as needed
- Act as a first responder to all emergency medical situations, using EMT skills to triage and perform CPR and/or First Aid
- Handle minor emergency maintenance
Requirements
- Current Arizona EMT certificate (required)
- Ability to obtain an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (assistance provided)
- Flu vaccination required
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year of security experience
- Valid driver license with satisfactory driving record
- CPR, BLS, and First Aid certification prior to start date
- Arizona DPS unarmed guard certification (assistance available)
Skills
- Effective oral and written communication in English
- Ability to make rational decisions in critical situations

Pay
$22.00 – $25.00 per hour, plus a $2 per hour shift differential for night shift.
Schedule
Sunday – Thursday, nights 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, with option to pick up additional nights and weekend hours.
