Security Officer/EMT
About the role
We are seeking a hospitality-focused Security Officer/EMT to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, staff, and community property.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled internal and external patrols to maintain a secure environment for residents and community property.
- Conduct continuous patrols of property and facilities.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms and emergency calls.
- Complete daily rounds and incident reports.
- Document incidents including accidents, theft, fires, serious mechanical malfunctions, emergency responses, and violations of rules and regulations.
- Maintain a professional and calm presence during all situations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- An active EMT license in the state of Illinois.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Qualifications

Pay
$20.00-23.00 per hour (based on experience) + shift differential.
Schedule
3rd Shift: 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM (37.5 hours/week). Must be available to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
