Security Officer Emergency Preparedness

About the role

Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic food and beverage location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter, documenting observations and unusual activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support site entry and exit procedures.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other security-related documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site expectations.

Requirements

• Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
