About the role
Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a government healthcare location, supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Assist with access control, visitor management, and the monitoring of designated areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Wednesday: 01:30 PM - 08:00 PM
- Thursday: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
- Friday: 01:30 PM - 08:00 PM
- Saturday: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
