About the role

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Unit in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, remaining aware of changing conditions in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and report unusual behavior, unauthorized activity, or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Complete routine reports, incident records, and shift communications, and help to deter disruptions by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders at all times.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
