Security Officer Driving Role Patrol

About the role
As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and restricted areas to help identify unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and document incidents, observations, and daily operations in required reports.
- Support emergency and evacuation protocols, assist with traffic and pedestrian control during routine and elevated activity, and help to deter policy violations through visible presence and professional interactions.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$20.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
