Security Officer Driving Role Patrol

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following post orders, assisting with evacuations, and completing detailed incident and activity reports.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
