What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access to the property by observing visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, assisting with directions, and reporting unauthorized or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and logs, and support ongoing security-related operations across the location.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
