About the role
Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Sturgis, MI, serving and safeguarding clients in healthcare and other industries.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces, helping to control access, direct foot traffic, and support security-related procedures for the location.
- Aid in reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel while following Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
