Security Officer Driving Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery traffic while following post orders and client-directed protocols.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directions and visitor questions, and maintaining accurate incident and activity reports.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
