Security Officer Driver Visitor Screening

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an Access Control professional. In this driving post, you will monitor entry and exit activity, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, process visitor access, and maintain required logs and reports related to security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, restricted areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
