About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Check In in Pittston, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Monitor and control access at entry points for a retail distribution location, verifying credentials, logging visitor and vendor arrivals, and directing authorized personnel appropriately
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters according to site procedures
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Maintain accurate access control logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements

Requirements

• Valid driver's license in the job state meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Access control and badge experience preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule

• DayTime
• Monday: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Friday: 05:00 AM - 12:30 PM
• Sunday: 12:30 PM - 07:30 PM
