About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Incident Response in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed by site-specific procedures, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, patrol records, and incident reports, and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
