As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
