Security Officer Driver Perimeter Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide caring customer service and clear communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including support for emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, laboratories, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry while maintaining accurate incident and patrol documentation.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
