About the Role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer Driver Patrol Team member in a fast-paced retail location in Seattle, WA. You will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls, patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post with responsibilities that may include vehicle patrols and responsive support across the location. Schedule

  • Full Time
  • Day Time: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, common areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to help deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, access, and policy-related issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, assist with de-escalation when needed, and support loss prevention and other security-related procedures in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Assist with opening and closing activities, observe customer and vendor movement, and communicate clearly with management and/or team members regarding incidents, hazards, and operational concerns.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
