About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Response in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$20.00 / Hour

• Monday: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Friday: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM
