- Daytime shifts: Tuesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization and vehicle entry requirements.
- Maintain accurate access-control records, issue and retrieve visitor badges and temporary credentials, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, exits, parking areas, production-adjacent areas and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
