Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Overnights

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Wever, IA, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and other policy violations by maintaining a professional presence and reporting suspicious activity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
