Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and/or notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Aid students, faculty, staff, and visitors with access questions, directions, and reporting procedures while supporting a professional and courteous environment.
• Monitor entrances, activities, and/or property conditions to help identify policy violations, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized presence, and report findings through established channels.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
